Pros and Cons Of Legalizing Marijuana Marijuana is a very common street and recreational drug that comes from the marijuana plant. The plant that produces marijuana, as is well known, is the hemp plant cannabis sativa. The pharmacologically active ingredient in marijuana is tetra-hydro-cannabinol.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss marijuana and compare both sides of the issue of legalizing marijuana. We have two factions fighting each other; one those who are pro marijuana and those who are anti marijuana. These two factions have been fighting on this issue on the halls of justice for years.
There are some pros and cons of medical marijuana and the way that the government has set up the use of it is the correct way. Marijuana should not be legal for everyone’s use. The only reason why they didn’t make marijuana legal is because of the affects it has on our bodys and working people that don’t suffer from any illness should not be using marijuana.
